Enemy Territory..If you cant connect to Server because of a invalid Guid!

Hey Enemy Territory Players!

Since October 2011 Punkbuster stopped working for 6 older Games including WOLFENSTEIN ENEMY TERRITORY,this means that Punkbuster dont generate a Etkey for ur Game so u cant connect to Pb Secured Server anymore.

Thats the Reason why no New Players (or Players without a ETkey)can connect to any Et Server at the Moment with the Reason you have a invalid Guid.

There is a Solution ....you need to visit this Homepage www.etkey.net and you have to genereate a Etkey for ur Game.

How to:

1.visit www.etkey.net

2.generate a Etkey and download it

3.go to - C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain.......if u have 32 bit System or

- C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain.....if you have a 64Bit System

you have to copy and paste the etkey into ur etmain Folder.

Than start the Game and enjoy ur Time on our Servers again.....

“Game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed pure server” error occurs when you try to join an ET server. The reason of “Game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed pure server” error is, that one or more of your pk3 files in your ET folder are corrupt, in other words are modified. This modification can also be caused by installing hacks.

a, Set Enemy Territory to ‘Run as administrator’.
In your ET installation folder right click on ET.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility tab -> check “Run this program as an administator” and run the game.

b, It might be a setting causing the “Game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed pure server” error, on Vista or Win7 systems: try disabling User Account Control (UAC).

For this, do the following:
Open Control Panel and type “UAC” in the search box -> click on “Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off” -> Uncheck the checkbox for “Use User Account Control (UAC)” -> click OK -> Restart your computer.

c, Another solution is to completely reinstall Enemy Territory. (Don’t forget to backup your etkey before deleting it!)
